Free Printing Software

If you need to produce artwork for your next printing project but it's not feasible to purchase some of the industry standard software, then you can try the following:

Scribus  - A free page layout alternative to Adobe InDesign and QuarkXpress in which PDF's can be exported for printing.
Gimp - An Alternative to Adobe Photoshop with some very similar features.
Primo PDF - An alternative to Acrobat Distiler. Users can print their documents straight to PDF files.
OpenOffice - A great free alternative to Microsoft Office. You can open and work with existing Word documents.
